Outside of LARP I'm helping to organise the National Fox Terrier Show - and I am looking for recommendations for food vans to feed the hungry hoardes.  Tea and Coffee, breakfasts, lunches ie burgers, chillie and their ilk and a lunch for the judges and stewards. We're talking about 100 people attending.

Any suggestions people?

Not a reply to the actual question, but yay! Fox terriers! Where is it and when?

Cant help with the catering thing, but am interested in a fox terrier show in Birmingham anyway (I am owned by a smooth cross)

Cool, thanks Penny, we may try and pop over. Can non-competing foxies gain entry? If the rescue people are there it might be a chance to look for a brother/sister for Eddie as well.

I'll check if visitors are allowed.

Malcolm Murray will be there and he got us our Folly. My friend is looking to rehome her lovely 4 year old Smoothie [Spike]. Spike is castrated and all good to go. He is a former show dog and a good dog to have around. He was supposed to have been rehomed before Christmas but the new owner started pissing my friend about and she wants to be sure that Spike will be going to a good foxie home. Is Eddie still whole?

While I can't recommend a particular catering group, have you considered any of the youth charity groups such as Scouts? As a former member/leader we were always grateful for these events as they are great for fundraising plus we always try to give the best service possible for the chance of being asked back in the future. Not all groups can do it, but some have their own wagons or access to them.
Hope this helps

Eddie is castrated, he was done by the RSPCA before we got him. He can be funny with other dogs so we'll need to be very careful with introductions etc, and obviously his interests will have to come first. No brother/sister he doesnt approve off :-)

We've found that Eddie is fine being left when we are both working as long as he has his kong and his long evening walks.

When is it? We're currently finalising a set up for a fully outdoor catering service, tent rather than van based though. We might not have all the equipment if it's soon though, and we are pretty booked up.
