If you go onto the Book Event page in My Maelstrom, it says the Winter Soltice event is on January 2nd... Is this right? Is it be able to accommodate Odyssey later in the year?

There are no more events for you to book for this year. Booking will open again in January for the next year.
So I'm not sure - I'd be very surprised if PD were planning to run an event in January though! As far as I know team green-hats are anticipating the first Maelstrom of 2010 to be Easter weekend (Fri 2nd - Mon 5th April).
Greenhat in possession of the dextrose tablets with the rough edges.

I get a page where I can book an event on 2 January too. I can only assume it's mistake and should probably email PD if they don't already know.

There are no more events for you to book for this year. Booking will open again in January for the next year. Yeah, me too. Crew members get a different message to players. If PD are running an event at the beginning of January, then they'll be doing it without any crew.
