I can do reasonably good general accessory stuff out of leather etc. -- scabbards, quivers, and so on. Most of this looks functional rather than highly stylized.

My real medium though is wood -- if you want a wooden sculpture built (on-site or not) I probably have the tools & expertise to do it. I've also just been taught longbow-making by a traditional bowyer, so can make 6' 30 lb longbows in a variety of woods from around £120 upwards depending on the wood.

Otherwise usually crew ("Quite spry & fit, & willing to wear a big costume & run around a lot" -- various event organisers)

somebody else that make's kit. can make all weapons except for arrows/bows and make lots of costumes too including minotaurs orcs, elves and other such things. weapons include things like larp safe flag poles, coreless battering rams, shields, daggers, trown weapons (including a bottle of newky brown at one point) and every thing else.

no matter how rediculous!

I will try to set up a site one day but if there is anything you need just let me know.

Well there's two of us, Steve Kingston who started with Mythlore way back in the mid 80's before joining the army then coming back to set up Lamia, i started working with Steve in 97 then became business partners in 99. We have built armour and props for a couple of theatres, Disney, and Microsoft! (they wanted leather folders for the execs) We did have a shop at one point and designed and made handbags but we don't like to talk about it.

We make a constant changing range of leather armour and accessories, also undertake bespoke work. we have no site at the mo but we are just starting to build one, will give more details in the Bazaar section when we're ready.

feel free to contact us lamiatrading@blueyonder.co.uk

Well I dont do foam or latex, but do fiddle with wood, leather, metal and material (though thats more the missus).

Pretty much make anything thats bespoke and interesting, for those that do Maelstrom the Jade Lotus is something we made, literally.

Examples of the kind of things and latest projects can be generally found at http://clawbeast.livejournal.com (if you dont mind my blog drivel)

Antrobus and Grimm,

When not solving supernatural crimes they make leather masks, bespoke leather armour (if its interesting) and props and monsters for all manner of theatrical (ad)venture. All ideas for commissions considered, especially if anyone wants a dragon, we really want to make a dragon

I do glass painting. I can do bottles (decorative or practical , e.g. mead bottles), glasses, potion bottles and my personal speciality: tealight lanterns. I can work on commission an do a specific design e.g. family crest, flag, IC religious symbol or whatever - great for decorating your IC tent.

Please note - any system-specific symbols are only available subject to copyright (Maelstrom's OK, but I can't do the LT stuff).

I can also do costume making to some degree, and I like making/finding phys reps.
