Highs - being camped next to god,the bar,the food and showers
- not moving from my chair most of the weekend, but still being involved in fighting
 - keeping Jarn subdued, so he could have beer, chips and warm up slightly
 - Mystdancers skeletal rutting stag impression after giving her a random potion
- giving the Mystwalkers 'herbs' to help my research
- yummy corn on the cob

Seeing old friends (although calling them old probably means they're not friends for much longer )
Plots Shymalan would be proud of.
Monsters you're actually afraid of.
A lovely site.
Great roleplay from everyone.
Despite dying on the saturday night, looking forward to the next character.
Seamless combat that despite a couple of minor issues (mainly I think down to monsters and players trying to hear a call over the other 20) was both safe and fun.
Scaring the crap out of at least 2 rangers while scouting just beyond bar at night.
Lows:
Hearing the news about Jen (hope you get well soon!).
Realising the tent we brought was slightly smaller than the tent which was only made waterproof by me tying a bin bag to the roof the last time we used it.

- Not getting to play Jerrek in the future. I loved the character and group, and while it was a good and entirely appropriate death for him, I will miss being the mad old cat.dude I know from the event before about sacrificing characters for the greater good, I really like my Sornassion Knight but the sacrifice was too Ic not to do

Damn!!
I drop out of synch for a while and I come back, having missed a all EOS this year i was hoping the Winterborne would have made it to next year. No such luck, well bugger.
Sorry to hear Jen got ill, glad to know she's better.
Will be making EOS next year, will be making EOS next year. That is my mantra till 2010. I've sorely missed playing Rai'len this year and now his sisters are dead he will be back with avengence I think.

| OMG! Brilliant event! This was only my 2nd proper rubber sword LRP, the first being Maelstrom. I found it a whole lot easier to immerse, get involved in plot and to understand the rules. Crew were awesome. High points: Being useful just by sitting in the bar having a chat Hearing someone screaming for help at the very start of the event Throwing myself down the hill and people actually being concerned (sweet but I did do it on purpose) Watching various people healing and the different methods used Being given a (very) quick lesson in how to use a sword and pole arm Seeing a shield wall in action ........ I'm going to stop there because otherwise i'll be here a while, lol. Down side: Getting stuck in the tavern of death, next time I fall over and play dead.
