The last few days it has been warm and sunny around old Sawley, to the point of robust people melting where they stood last night. Today the air was a bit crisper which was nice so all's looking good for the weekend, especially since the clouds buggered off elswhere.

There's been quite a bit of wind during late night and the sky is currently a lovely nuclear-war colour courtesy of skullcrusher mountain.

Monday afternoon:

Wednesday evening: (currently a lovely red-orange glow)

Apologies about the hideous Taj Mahal thing, it's a blot on an otherwise explodery landscape.

I'm still gonna bring my waterproof cape though. Thanks for doing these weather reports btw, they are ace. It's a can't-miss thread for me, part of my pre-Maelstrom ritual.

Or an overly warm partner who can act as a space heater for your tent.

It's all worthwhile as long as at least one person finds it useful

Clear skies today, and yes the nights (and this morning) are frosty now so prepare for that. As far as today and tomorrow go it's gonna be cloudless and warm so potentially the lightweights may need extra sun precautions.

According to our local (read: it's been moved from Toton to BIRMINGHAM which is baffling) reports Sat & Sun shall be just as nice.

Thursday morning:

Didn't the Gods blow Tonton up? That'll be why.

Nice bit of artistic lisence there.

Well ... good for you ... I think.

It's been nice out today, even caught the sun a bit at Cliff Farm. The main field seems sorta churned up in a way, like the whole thing could turn into one big tumbleweed and ramble away.
