Good point, but for some reason the black teeth (which I suspect might have been something she ate rather than bad oral hygiene) enhanced rather than diminshed the hotness.

Mmmm.... tasty alluvial mud. Or maybe it was licorice or maybe just chewin' baccy.
I was wondering what everyone was doing wandering around outside her house in waist deep water. Zombies, Spirits, retards?

| Am I the only person who liked this one more than the original, then? With the first film, I couldn't get into the plot at all, so it turned into a series of clips of Johnny Depp being funny, separated by a lot of boring bad acting which I'm inclined to fast-forward. With this film, there were an awful lot fewer points where I was inclined to just blank whatever was on screen while I waited for the next decent bit to come along. I went in with fairly low expectations- watching the trailer made me think that the fishpeople really weren't going to work. I was pleasantly surprised that they frequently came across as more sinister than cheesy (Bootstrap Bill's first scene is brilliant).

I agree Bootstrap was pretty scary in the first bit, but the Flying Dutchman being a ship and a ship with "gatling" cannon was a grievous blow. Also I didn't come out of the film "subtly" practicing sword fighting footwork...
