| From the debris of a mis-overheard conversation, bathed in the elixir of divine inspiration, it emerges, a crawling, misshapen beast of an idea, unstoppable, hideous, slouching towards some 2-d village to be born... Order of the Stick - the LRP For those of you who aren't yet gasping in horror, frothing in anticipation, or yawning in exaggerated ennui, The Order of the Stick is a webcomic about characters in a lo-fi, clunky, iconic roleplaying game, that mostly plays with diegetic entaglements and other meta-narrativistic genre tropes, while maintaining strong characterisation and being damn funny. In other words, it's all about taking the piss. And as midwives to the birth of this idea, we are duty-bound to make sure it grows and matures into a playable, fun larp that preserves the original ideals of looking crap, poking fun at the hobby, following the most twisted logic possible, and being really funny. It's not as easy as it sounds. Any volunteers?

Sounds like it could well be a giggle. I'm up for trying it if it doesn't clash with anytihng else I'm doing.

| You weren't at waypoint this weekend were you? You see, someone had the same idea in the crewroom at waypoint and it is far too much of a coincidence that the same conversation occured in two places at the same time...

| I volunteer!!! I do looking crap brilliantly.
I sacrificed Philip Rogers to the Volcano God, and he blessed me with an alluring lammie printing machine and cursed me with a rough god queue pass. What will you sacrifice?

Hmmm.... well obviously I have no idea what you're talking about. Would you like to say what systems you've been too and roughly how many times you've been to them and then we can guess which one you mean?

| This sounds like a brilliant idea! Will people get penalised for using high-quality phys-reps? An LRP like this demands gaffa weapons and costume made from your mum's old curtains.

| And if you don't have a sheet knotted round your neck for a cloak you're doing it all wrong. What about if I find an Iron Maiden t-shirt and blue denim jeans and white trainers from somewhere? Is that better or worse costume?
