My worst costume was probably the outfit my gentleman theif character wore at my first few Shards events... White cotton shirt with the collar cut off and lace sewn to the cuffs, waistcoat made from some sort of synthetic brocade effect fabric (with poppers to do it up as none of us knew how to do button holes at that point), dark blue jeans, woman's leather coat, pleather boot tops, baldric made from a couple of belts.

| first event I played a human soldier at LT wore black combats, army boots ,faded green hoodie [with logo on front] street hockey pads sprayed silver on my arms and legs and a tabard made from the stuff you line a sofa bottom with held together with duct tape as the stuff wouldnt sew together properly only actual kit was a uruk hai sword and a leather helmet next event i bought chainmail so at least the hoodie was covered up
