Dear All,

A post to say that the final Oblivion lrp event will be taking place on August 11th -13th at the Polyapes Scout site near Cobham in Surrey. We have had enough interest and commitments from players to run the event, so it is definitely going ahead.

We have space for players or crew, so if you wish to come to the last ever Oblivion event please get in touch via players@oblivionlrp.com or monsters@oblivionlrp.com To crew is free and to play costs £60.

Players can play any character they have from the system alive or dead, or if a new character they will be enhanced to enable a fair event. This event should answer all questions, tie up loose ends and in the end let the players decide the final fate of all. We can honestly say that we don’t know how it is going to end.

Time in will be from 2100 on Friday and Time out will be about noon on Sunday. Players are welcome on site from 3pm and crew are welcome from noon both on Friday.

The site does have toilets and showers. The usual bar/inn facilities are available i.e. food and drink, along with hot water and a microwave. (No kitchen facility is available – sorry).

The event is camping although we do have a number of limited indoor beds available for those who have the need or have difficulty with camping – please get in touch if you require one of these.

It is our intention to hold a mini IC party on Saturday evening, where we will be supplying some food and drink (buffet style). If you wish to dress up for it – more than usual! - you are extremely welcome. There will also be some competitions with prizes on Saturday night.

On Sunday afternoon, the Oblivion team will finish up and then their will be a launch for the new system Resistance run by many of the team. This will include a first view of the rule book, some background information, the launch date and your chance to book onto the first Resistance event. (Places are strictly limited to 40 players).
