Good morning.
I wish to speak to a representiaive of the king. I have matters to discuss with them. I have been told that the king has legal documents freeing this land and all present from the reign of the previous king.
If i am to sware feality to our new king i must see and read these documents for myself. please send for someone with the authroity to let me see them.

| Sir William is led into a waiting room. After 10 minutes a page brings him some refreshment, a glass of chilled white wine. "King Galamore will see you, he asks you to wait as he is dealing with matters of great import at this time, to do with the beast ravaging the lowlands" After three more glasses of wine and 2 hours you are finally granted an audience. "Sir William, i appologise for the wait, but i wasn't expecting a visit, and things are rather hectic at the moment! Now what can i do for you?"

I have been informed that we have had legal documents severing us from the mainland. before i can sware fealty to you as king i am required by my oath to my previous lord to examine the documents.
As you are aware, as an oath sworen knight i am loyal to my lord until death or released from service.

| Well Sir Knight, i must say i am sadly disappointed that you will not take me at my word, and where i can see where you are coming from on this matter, your lack of faith is noted! Here are the documents u seek, and as you see they are in order and that I have the Kings permission to do as i wish here now, as support from the mainland will no longer be forthcoming. What i wish is to form another Kingdom, following the same ways and teachings of the old homeland, and as such we will need a King and i as senior noble here will fill that role. I will also need trusted men and women to take the roles needed to run a kingdom, men and women who can be relied upon and whom i can trust in............are you one of those men Sir Knight?

Indeed my lord it does appear that i am again a free knight. As for my lack of faith, as you refer to it, i would ask you think of it not as mistrust in you rather my unfailing devotion to my honour and word to my leige. Trust in me that i offer you the same i as offered my last leige lord.
Let it be known, I Sir William Marshal, Knight of the Lions Rampant and Holy paladin of Galrath do henchforth swear to uphold the laws of this new land, to uphold my duty as i see fit and do swear my loyality and feality to the Line of the Kings of Trepidation. I do swear to give my life if needed in the protection of the crown. I will give all i have, if needed, save that which i promise to galrath as his sworn priest, in defence of this land.

| King Galamore looks carefully at you "hmmmmm, yes! kneel Sir William" he then slowly drawers a fanitly glowing longsword, which he hold over you, the colour and brilliance remain unchanged, he looks satified. He touches the sword to both of Sir Williams shoulders in turn "Arise Baron William, First Knight of the new court of King Galemore, and commander of the Fort of Trepidation, you will have command of the sea port garrison and a command of 50 men at arms, promote and use as you see fit, the details we will sort later, arise now and ask any questions you need, before you head south to take charge of your new command"
