| This is an utterly frivolous thread, but I was contemplating the hardskill advantages the X-men would have if they attended events. Or would they? WOLVERINE (no benefit) "Hey ref? I have regenerative abilities." "Not according to the rules. You have 3 hits and go down like everyone else." "What about my claws?" "Not weapon safe. You can't use them."
PROFESSOR X (very good) "Hmm. That drow is planning to reveal the location of my magic sword to his guild. I'll just wipe his memory. There we go." COLOSSUS (poor) "Comrade ref! My skin becomes an invulnerable organic steel..." "...for which you have no valid skill or lammie. You still only have 3 hits." NIGHTCRAWLER (awesome - kinda) "I vant to play a high elf..." "Uhm, you look more like a demon? Tried being an eidolon? Even with 3 hits and doing single, that whole *bamf* thing means you are winning most fights." ANGEL (hmm) "So... I can fly?" "Well, technically there's no rules against a PC being able to fly if they can OOC..." "Excellent!" "...but neither do we let martial artists do full contact, so you're not allowed." "Aww." MULTIPLE MAN (I wish) "I can be in ten different places on site at once! I can be my own mob!" "And you can pay the entry ticket for every duplicate you made of yourself, Mr Madrox." My point? Uhm... prejudice against homo superior is rife even in our liberal hobby! All hail Magneto! (Hah! Magneto sucks against latex weapons...)
----- Insurrection:"Of course, if I used some extra resources I could raise my chances of success to very poor...." Riftworld: "This? This is not a problem, its a challenge. Now can someone help me open this jar?" LT: [Not allowed a speaking (or writing) part.]

| The Beast (decent) Leaping and Acrobatic hard skills give him a good change at avoiding rubber weapons, but those claws aren't LRP-safe, and he's stuffed if he doesn't want to play a mokosh. Quicksilver (poor) Superspeed sounds like a great idea, but one decent whoosh and he's knocked down half the tents, and buried himself into the soft, soft peaty mud. Emma Frost (Excellent) Forget mind control powers and the abilty to turn into diamond, her main powers will be her excellent fashion sense (good kit) and plunging cleavage. Kitty Pryde (Excellent) Her phase shifting makes her utterly unbeatable, until she accidentally phases through one of GOD's PCs, getting her quickly kicked off site for mutant terrorism.

| Cyclops' Mate: "Seriously guys, if you knock off his glasses, stop playing and pick them up. Better yet...DON'T knock off his glasses..." Prof X to the X-Men: "Repeat after me: I will not use the Danger Room to play Conan versus the Space Cyborgs..." Fo an additonal geek point, in Ultimate X-Men, Nightcrawler sets up an RPG style situation for the Danger Room.

Ed Fortune (7/2/2008) The Beast (decent)
Leaping and Acrobatic hard skills give him a good change at avoiding rubber weapons, but those claws aren't LRP-safe, and he's stuffed if he doesn't want to play a mokosh.
Nah.. players will just bitch that Blue isn't a valid colour for a mokosh and that he looks more like as eidolon as a result
Ed Fortune (7/2/2008) Kitty Pryde (Excellent)
Her phase shifting makes her utterly unbeatable.
That is until she encounters a mage or some other character with "point and hue" damage calls
Banshee (Good)
The ultimate sniper, as soon as he found out that muskets have a range of "earshot"
