there may be a place left, not sure as we are pretty full.
Not actually taking bookings yet as we are trying to set up a bank account and are having trouble convincing them were are not international gun runners and just a LRP club.
Once we have this sorted we will start taking bookings (money!)

I will keep it short.
PLAYERS BIT
Characters
We are now putting together your character backgrounds, mixing things up a
bit and making them a bit more ‘interesting’. We will snail mail these to
you so please ensure that we have your home address.
We hope to get these out to you early October to give you time to
familiarise yourself and to lose all the important stuff.
Mugshots
If you can send a picture of yourself in costume before the event it would
be appreciated*.
The Tone
A few players have asked for clarification on the tone of the event. This
is not going to be our normal tongue in cheek nonsense. We want to play
this like a real event. Of course that’s not to say it is going to be
frowny, uppity, pretentious, analy retarded or stern. I am sure we will
have a few laughs along the way but on the whole we are not playing for
laughs. To be honest it is going to be horrible for you, don’t worry, you
will love it. Mind bleach and therapy will be available**.
Payments
Just a reminder that all payments should now be in. If there are any
outstanding monies due, then you will soon start to get daily hassles.

EVERYONE BIT
Crew
We really want as many crew as possible for this one. Go on, grab your
granny. There will be a varied range of NPCs available to play as well as
the occasional life challenged entity. Please grab your friends and get
them along too. We will look after you as best we can, we will try to
offer you any food the players have not eaten but it may be wise to pack a
few pot noodles just in case. Please let us know if you are intending to
come, so that we can get the appropriate amount of grub and gubbins.
Crew Basic kit
We do have a wide variety of costume available but it would help
considerably if we have some basic kit to work on. Jeans (not necessarily
flares) are perfectly acceptable. Trainers are fine as long they are not
the latest Nike air blasters or whatever you kids are wearing these days
(Matalan do a great converse style trainer for about £4), plain shoes are
also fine, a t shirt of something non descript or plain or an old shirt.
Be advised that we will be covering you in all manner of unmentionables so
don’t wear your finest Gucci retro chic. Also a reminder that this event
is set in 1972 in England and not 1978 San Francisco. (No disco!)
Foody stuff
No one has been in touch regarding special dietary requirements so we may
be eating puffer fish stew containing nuts and genetically modified gluten.
Please bring a plate and spoon. (Beware the spoon thieves!)****
The make up of make up artists
We have a couple of dedicated teams of make up artists, if anyone else has
skills in make uppery (or would be willing to learn) and they would like to
come along, let us know and we will see what we can do to assist you.
There are a couple of different teams doing make up and effects so it will
be a great learning opportunity and a chance to share skills***.
Water
Apparently it is everywhere but nor any drop to drink. No idea.*****
To conclude
This is going to be a very special****** event; we have a host of new toys
and some really innovative ideas. So if you are not a player or signed up
to crew, please do so at your earliest opportunity because it would be
really rude to miss it.
