Here is some information about Heroquest evenings in Gloucester -

Heroquest will be holding Live Role Playing evenings during the week.

http://www.heroquest-larp.co.uk/index.htm

I asked around to see how many people would be interested and the initial response I have had has been very good. I have therefore hired the Chequers pub skittle alley for our first meet.

It all begins next Wednesday and we will then be meeting there the first Wednesday of every month.

As soon as the weather improves we will also be running adventures on the third Wednesday of every month at a number of different locations in and around Gloucester.

As well as being a great chance to socialise the aim of the meetings will be to introduce new people to the hobby and to update everyone on forthcoming Heroquest and Herofest events.

We will also discuss the campaign the rules and any other topics that anyone has questions on.

I plan to bring some weapons with me so we can do some practicing and show new people how to fight safely.

Do you have anyone else who you have been thinking of introducing to LRP but thought a whole weekend might be a bit too much for them?

This is an ideal time to show people what our great hobby is all about and in a pub atmosphere which anyone can relate to.

Incidentally the pub happens to have the cheapest drink prices in Gloucester.

If you bring anyone along that I don’t know I will buy you and them a drink.

Here are the details of the first night –

It is good to meet everyone last night, and a very positive sign to meet so many new / young larpers.

------

PD: St. Legion the blessed, ' "If you're a loyal eidolon, where were you when we killed the first-born?"

RW: Ketta Sheng "Girls are evil. They break your heart, and then your spear, and then they get killed"

EOS: Hasib Suran: "Yes, older brother, it's your choice. I only advise you."

TNN: Druid Coran: "Do not heckle me, witch!"

It was more of a social drink for exisiting larpers and to introduce new people to the idea of Larping.

I will be doing these social events once a month then doing an in character tavern night once a month and then once a month will run 2 short scenarios to introduce people to the idea of what it is like to be a character and a monster/npc/crew
