worry, I noticed that some people put a default copyright notice in their sigs. These won`t show if people block signatures, so they`d better be aware of that.

If I recall correctly, Rule 7 claims all rights. It's the easy way to do it.

What is the character limit now? Does the console allow a default text size?

The terms and conditions thread gives people the option to claim copyright on their posts via their sig. If that's not valid for some reason it could do with being updated.

No no, you've got it right, if you want to copyright your posts, as the T's and C's points out, you can do so, my wording choice was poor, I've ammended it now to prevent further misunderstanding, I posted in a rush, people should just be aware that copyrighting things on a public forum is highly unlikely to stand up very well to any kind of test (not from us, from entities outside of Rule7 altogether)

We/I have no interest in reserving the rights, and should anyone need our assistance in a dispute over copyright, get in touch, we'll help wherever we can, it remains my opinion based on direct experience however that if you post it on an internet forum, you'll have a hard time making copyright stick (or at least a costly time).
