Any ideas for companies that produce helms for smaller heads? I also have a stupidly round head having been a breech birth!

Hmm metal's a difficult one. If you're looking to get something custom made for yourself you're gonna need a wad of cash. However I seem to remember folks on a thread on Rules 7 saying some of the cheap helms from India that you find on ebay tend to be on the small side. Maybe a possibility?

Yeah, one of the Corinthian helms I bought from Planet Trading on eBay was pretty snug.

So how small are we talking, Sarah? Get Dressed for Battle do 'Medium' helmets with a 23" circumference and even some 'Smalls' at 22". At least with a tiny bonce you have the option of wearing a nice, thick arming cap! Not an option I have, unfortunately.

Not bad for the price, I suppose. As I said the steel Corinthians are titchy - luckily it fits the missus so no harm done. I couldn't comment on the rest.

Viking Crafts make stupidly pretty and authentic hand-beaten Viking-ace helmets (nasal, eastern or spectacle) starting at £100. If you email them including your head size, they'll get back to you.

And they're lovely people, I've got several helmets from them and have always been impressed.
