Evokes images of a weeping vampyre explaining that he wasn't a murderer - an evil man snuck up behind him, put two fingers to his throat, grabbed his hand, forced it into the scissor shape and then ran him about town brutally scissoring people to death. The smart thing to do is set fire to the hand when you've finished with it.
