| Ian Horne Spent a great deal of last academic year writing the new calls / magic system for CUTT, and a great deal of this academic year as ref in charge of magic, flange and Weird Shit for the same. Tabletop GM of long experience, having been running games on and off for 12 years. Never used an off-the-shelf rules set without modifications. Written 6 or so entirely separate and working tabletop systems, and about the same number that are dysfunctional, unbalnced or crap.

Maelstrom: Auriel, Seraph of Fire and Stone, Lieutenant of the Teacher's Host in the Lands of Hell, Celestial Messenger of Lord Sun.

I’ve played in more systems than I care to remember, including brief runs with big systems like Lorien Trust, Curious Pastimes, Maelstrom and so on, as well as playing in club systems like Shards and Shadowrealms and smaller and more obscure events like The Project.
I’ve never been involved in running any of the large fest-style events (thank God). About sixty players in a wood has been my largest headache. I dread to think how you cope with hundreds…
Some years back I wrote numerous adventures and refereed events for LRP clubs people may know/remember including Battletag, Labyrinthe, Fools & Heroes, as well as several small and long-vanished linear systems that nobody has ever heard of. I helped run both modern and dark-age Vampire systems way back when we were all convinced it was new and cool. And how wrong we were…
Crewed for many systems, including the likes of Hyborian Tales, Frail Realities, Shards.
Lots of tabletop RP experience, with a mild obsession for running Ars Magica and SLA Industries for anyone who fails to object quick enough.
Over the past few years, I’ve become more and more demanding about the intensity and quality of the LRP events I do. As a result, I’ve run my own small sci-fi events, under the Scavenger LRP banner, for which I wrote the rules system, background, plot lines, the works. I also on occasion run small, intricately planned, invitation-only events, most recently a 1930s horror weekend.
I have a strong dislike of overcomplicated rules systems in LRP, and a hatred of any character system that requires a battleboard.

| Can't resist writing, tried, ego is too large... Name: Chris T-T Age: Yes, like a good wine but in reality more like my 80's music collection. Remember writing - sometimes sober: Darkstar, Myth, Oblivion, Empyre. Plot: Yes, if we can, always love plot...er Kingship then it gets blurry. Now writing: The Fallen & Resistance (Though my co-writers have the cool ideas) Top Tip: Write something you would want to play.
