In my opinion if such a system was implemented, it would mark the precise point at which Rule7 finally collapsed in on itself into a sort of passive-aggressive black hole. Thankfully I suspect Allen and James are not nearly stupid enough to go down that route.

Abuse only comes is you consider there to be a line between just being unpopular and being thought of as disruptive.
There is a huge difference between being unpopular, being thought of as disruptive, and simply holding unpopular opinions. There are numerous posters on here who remain quite popular despite having opinions some might consider very off-centre. Thankfully there's more to life, and LRP, than someone's simply overwhelming rage about Poster X's opinions on 'Cheese in a LRP Context' or whatever the latest hot-button flamebait topic is.

| Why do we need a sepcial thread in order to post that we think someone is out of line? Why not just post in the thread where you think someone is out of line something like: "Look, I think you've gone too far, I'm reporting you to a mod for XYZ" and then report them?
