| I phoned Bell's Farm today to look into possible hire in Feb, but the offical diary holder, a Mrs D Forester informed me that the organizing committe has looked into LRP at Bell's Farm and made two changes: 1) No overnight stays. You can run, leave to sleep somewhere else and come back. 2) Centre loses at 11pm. No exceptions. I have no idea what has prompted these changes, but this is what I was told today.

Perhaps someone who uses the site semi reguarley should point out that this change will stop 90% of LRP coming to the site.

| If not all... It makes the site useless from a LRP point of view. Thier loss, though. There was a meeting last year about 'some changes to the booking system' which I think at least one LRPer went to ( I was sent a notification about it but could not go so I sent it on to others who were able to go) and I think some of the things discussed there indicated that this was the way things were heading. The impression I get is that they really don't want our money which is their choice but it does mean that they lose out on an awful lot of business as I remember several LT events have been held there in the past.

Their website chunters on about Living History etc which makes me suspect this is more "people in costumes" infighting small-minded bollocks.
Ultimately, if they don't want LRP there, fuck 'em.
