| Hi guys, I've almost finished my big hammer I've dry brushed the head, and that looks okay but the handle looks a little flat. Is it okay to use paint washes on the latex to shade it, or will it damage the surface? Any advice is appreciated, Ocelot.

| yeah- why would it damage the surface? I use inks, they produce some great effects.

On a similar subject while we are at it: how do people highlight? Do they drybrush using pure acrylics?

I dont tend to highlight, i colour with latex to the lightest i want to go, then airbrush it darker, tho i have rarely just airbrushed a silver edge on blades

| Thanks guys, good info as usual. I was mainly asking about diluted acrylic paints, but ink sounds okay as well.
