That would be part of the problem James mentions on the "All users please read" pinned thread.

The speed and reliability of the site will settle down in the next few days, the issue in this regard is being worked on by our providers.

and has been confirmed as repaired as of about 10:00am this morning, however, please bare in mind at the moment we're offering the maximum number of features this forum provides, which means a bit of a slower load time whilst everything loads in, we will be optimising this as time goes on, and I do have a constant eye on the speeds, the current average response time for a page is 0.359 of a second for standard pages (replying to posts, login forms etc...) around 1.423 seconds for posts you make to the site, and 1.6 seconds for loading of threads, these seem acceptable, i would want responses of under 4 seconds really, you should be able to see any response times at the bottom of the page, and the number of queries executed to get that page to you (So you know what went on under the hood within that time)

As allen said, we've experienced some problems, I monitor this server regularly throughout my waking day, I do apologise for performance dips, and will do everything within my power to provide the best service I can.
