Ooooh, post links to your gear on the mailing list! It's got way too quiet.

I have started thinking about my charcater properly now. The costume is very specific and I need some advice.

The main costume should be worn patched travelling clothes with gypsy feel. With hits of wanderer like bed roll perhaps.

But also would need writhing stuff as well, scroll cases etc.

Had the idea Argen would have a wooden badge with a stylistic image of the old home city with, e.g a slice of a branch a few inches wide.

Also a leather cape or roll that would have the map burned/painted on. So that as the game progesses I can build up a master map of everywhere I know about.

So basically I thought it would be cool to walk in with a detailed costume as if I had been playing for years and I dont know how to pull it off.

Any ideas?

I'd approach it from a practical angle. What would your character actually need/use? If you sat down and wrote a list of all the odds and ends he needed, I'm sure you'd end up with a nice little pile of junk to accessorize your kit with. Check out the "making of" features on the LotR Collector's Edition DVDs. All the costumes were chock-a-block with little details that had a practical basis.

Howver the info says you obviously ahve a hidy whole for your resources near by so you probally have it for other bits 2 so what are people gona carry? just weps and what you need to do the event or are people carting other things 2?

Im gona be carrying various utensils that will help with my trade, but i think it will depend on your character type, if your a scout for your group, its likely you'll carry less garb than the rest, however if your the group cook, you might have a load of pots and pans with a little box of spices - ala Samwise Gamgee etc

Tad,

Some of the information in your individual resource pack will help you - i.e. the maps.
