Just sorting out some core logistics and reached the issue of the bank account. Which banks/account types have people used for LRP organisations, which where good and which should be avoided.....

We've used HSBC society account for Waypoint, as we wanted to keep system money separate from our own. I personally find it a bit of a pain because we have no cards or internet banking on it.

I've used it as well. Was easier cos several of use were Midland Bank customers already. Why I picked it, really.
While a "visit the bank only" account, it is almost (*) entirely free, as I recall.
And you get to have people send cheques to An Organisation rather than some potentially unknown individual.
Not sure if we could PayPal to it...

Yes, we had to make up a Club Charter and such.

DM (aka "Chairman, Catchy Name LRP")

(*- if you write less than 10 cheques a month, or summat)

But I do think LRP is a hobby best enjoyed in a positive state of mind.
If you approach a game with a positive attitude then you're more likely to enjoy yourself there.
