• There may be some problems whilst the DNS change settles down, this should be done by monday.
  
• There will undoubtedly be teething issues with the new server (which is 1,000,000 times better than the old one) bare with me whilst i resolve these ASAP.
  
• Once we've confirmed stabillity we will start introducing those new features and goodies we talked about.

New Features Added for ALL users

1. All users now have storage for 100 PM's
2. All users now have 2MB of online storage at Rule7 for uploading of
1. Images/Photos
2. Attachments to posts/PM's
3. Avatars
3. Avatars are now enabled for all users.
4. Userpics are now enabled for all users.
5. Posting of Images/Photos (Either uploaded or linked from an external server). Within your posts, is now supported.
1. Broken image links, or stolen/copyright content linked will be deleted.
6. The gallery feature has been enabled.
7. Posting of Polls upto 15 questions is now enabled.

Now the downside where I have to be all serious, we're offering to host files for you, we are responsible for the content on this server, or rather, I am. Thus the following will apply:

1) The file storage is for the above usage only, anyone found to have uploaded copyright material they do not own the copyright for, illegal material, obscene/offensive material unsuitable for minors (this is an easy going community, but we still have our juniors), or storing files which they link for download elsewhere (Using us as a hosting service effectively) Will have their entire file storage cleared, removed and revoked without warning. Dependant on the nature of the offense, your account may also be frozen or banned, and the relevant authorities notified.

2) Regarding Avatars and Photos, please keep it clean people, again, we have our juniors, if asked to remove publically available offensive material, we will do so. I have no desire to spoil anyones fun, but try to keep within sensible limits.

3) As with everything here, Rule7 applies.

4) Big brother isn't watching, but I am  (Roughly translated, expect no privacy, if you upload the file to the server, we have an obligation to check the content stored here, we also have an obligation to provide that to the authorities upon request. If it's private, it probably shouldnt be here. (This does not affect your statutory rights, and we will still opearate in compliance with the data protection act)

Once again, do please enjoy folks, this has all been done for your enjoyment in year 2, have fun with it, and I look forward to seeing the forum change shape a little as you make use of all these new toys.
