All in all I think the event ran quite well, we had some issues with kit not being delivered on time, we only had 9 crew when we expected 20, but mere teething troubles I hope!

Some poor organisation, as we were still roganising things up until the friday morning, meaning we kicked off late (but we ran later to make upfor it). our plot was very simple and we had hoped to see a lot of faction interaction and rivalry, but with one group making up 50% of the player base this didn't really happen which means for the next event we really have to work on more plot.

I think lessons to be learned were... ALL characters in well before the event, no one to turn up without a character unless very good reasoning.

Players will do the most peculiar things, NPC's can direct without being obvious

Wigan can be a bit cold in march ;-)

we did however have an excelent player base who really made a great effort in terms of kit, and roleplaying.

have you though about limiting group size? If you are a small system (compared to a fest level system) and want inter group politics then limiting the size of a group can help with that as you are less likely to get people in one big group.

I muse admit I know most (possibly all) of the big group who came and made the decision that when/if I make it I will not be playing in their group because of that reason.

we didn't think about it at the time, no, Wish we had! but we can't really harsh haycrofts lot now, they were pretty great, and it would be unfair to split them with game mechanics... we might split them by murder though ;-)

I did try and point it out to some of haycrofts lot before hand It may be worth considering for in future but let haycrofts be an exception.

Alternatively I can come and try and murder all their charcters for you then it will be player driven

They have enough enemies that it wouldn't be too difficult :-)

All we need is a big wad of circle players and it could be PvP hell!

The Circle are a big bunch of girls and their mummies dress them funny

(please insert other nasty things to say about the Circle)

I look forward to being murdered horribly at the next event

I second what the captain says...

Plus they where touched in an in appropriate manner at an early age by an adult in a position of responsibility.... and they smell funny.
