I wasn't actually aware of who did the crew hut in the end. Too busy worrying about the massive mess in the player hut... though a lot of that was apparently there when we arrived due to some irresponsible business manager types who'd hired the place during the week.

The point remains that the mud is difficult to shift from any surface.

ah the joys of earthy iron ore sites
For years my daughter actually though the place was called "Wroxton Mud"

I always warn player of the phenomina and tell them not to wear kit they would be upset to fine stained for ever ochre brown.

Mind you I have been to worse sites for mud.

We have a white dog with a reddish brown face. His entire body was tinged the same colour as his face after a weekend there!

And I agree, DOwngate Woods in Kent is far worse. Far far worse.

I actually quite like Horley as a site.
