Ah, that was ported over from Mongoose's _Quintessential Fighter_ classbook for D&D. It's not ideal... there's a somewhat better 2nd edition Mongoose-style mass battle system (by Adrian Bott) in _Strongholds & Dynasties_. Alternatively there's a rather good, more narrative-based mass battle system in BESM d20.

Otherwise usually crew ("Quite spry & fit, & willing to wear a big costume & run around a lot" -- various event organisers)

Ian... didn't you write the Slaine RPG?

Im sitting here searching all over the cover... Theres no Ian Sturrock in here... I Claim...
Then i look up about an inch and in big black bold letters.. sure enough!
Shit... what can i say!?... I love this system, thank you so much for creating it!
Can't get enough of it... I may have to pick your brains some more in the future if that would be okay?
Cheers again!

You're welcome -- pick away, though I can't guarantee how much time I'll have to reply quickly....
