N-E-X-U-S is a live action role-playing game in a grim near-future setting where national governments have crumbled, and in the wake of the chaos, giant corporations have seized control. What makes N-E-X-U-S different from most other live action systems is that we use a system of organic interaction between participants to generate the ongoing stories and intrigue. We feel this offers you as a player, the most rewarding and mature experience available. The level you choose to participate in the game is entirely up to you. It is for you to explore just how deep the rabbit hole goes. If you want an immersive experience and a challenge on many levels where the onus is on the player to pursue their own goals, in a consistent and expansive, character driven environment, then N-E-X-U-S may be for you. You’re invited to play whatever role you wish in the grim reality, be it: Mercenary, Medic, Scientist, Merchant or many more. In the Nexus you can explore and control Territories, build and develop Facilities, gather faceless Minions to do your bidding, manipulate Social & Economic conditions and research new Technologies & Equipment, all with tangible effects on game play. With many participants and each with a myriad of agendas and motivations; intrigue, excitement and even conflict are common place.

Now in our 3rd year, we’re a forward thinking professional organisation, with ambition to provide innovative, unique and mature live action role-play experiences, backed up by high quality, no-nonsense special effects.
We’ve just launched our online ‘Character Career Management & Event Booking system’, please come and take a look! We now have 200 registered members and an active community network. Attendance at events is over 60 participants and growing with each event. We have high hopes of achieving 100 plus, per event, in 2007! Our next, and final event of the year, is September 30th & October 1st, so there is still time to establish your groups powerbase in the evolving community. We are always on the look-out new Players and Crew to help make the events the best that they can be! Due to the organic nature of our events, they are inherently dynamic and evolve continually depending on each player’s contribution. You know, instead of replying to this thread, you could always have a free hosted board on Rule7! It might stop the thread getting knocked down and obscured by subsequent posts!
There is no way you can disprove to me that all reality we percieve, was concieved in the mind of a plastic troll. Now hand me my pills.

| Thanks Grim, I will consider that. Though, we are already pushed for time managing our community, I think at this point a seperate forum might be just that little too much leading to a break down in comms and dissapointed people! I will bear it in mind for the future, maybe for next year... I hope you like what you see above!

| The deadline for pre-booking the next Nexus event is now just a few days away! Bookings received after 18th September will be subject to the late booking fee, an additional £10. To book, you can use our awesome online booking & character management system, links above! We have recently published the ‘Player Facility Guide’ on our forums, this provides the essential information to anyone wishing to operate a Facility within the system. CREW! We are also in need of crew. We have several places available for a combat orientated group based in the ‘No-Go-Zone’ -wilderness areas outlawed by the CORP, inhabited by anti-Corp extremists. The role will require you own your own airsoft equipment, or hire can be provided at additional cost. The role will involve equal measures of combat and role-play, you will be given direction but also a great deal of freedom to explore the setting and the many possabilities.
