keypads storing combination and showing a different led/bi directional led if correct combination entered. Connector attached to a door which passes state back to a pc to show either open or closed.

hence when you enter the right number on a keypad, the led changes from red to green. When you open the door the connection is broken and pc is updated saying door is open. When connection is made, pc shows door as closed.

Thats a good example but there's a few other things as well.

My expertise is limited to glowing led eyes!

Ack... thats something I used to be able to do, but I've killed off any braincells that once knew how to do that.

How annoying.

F.G. Have you tried Matt Southgate (Penny's husband)? Logs on to the CP boards as Will I think.

I might be able to help with the hardware. Do you know Keeper? He might be able to do the PC side of it.

Fat Goth

I've left PM'd you on the CP Boards. Matt is your man. He is pure electronics geek and has made really cool stuff in the past and currently is doing stuff for the Wolves.
