As mr Oliver proved the only way to get kids to have schoold inners was to remove the option of eating shite.

Similarly Recycling aint an issue of choice its a neccesity, people have been shown to be idiots, the vast majority cannot be truisted to make the choice themselves they need to be led by the nose like the irritating clones they are. In areas where the facilities are available we should actively penalise those who wilfully fail to recycle.

I believe the first prosecutions for failiure to properly recycle are now underway.

Fortunately this is already happening in some areas.

Valid point, I have to admit to being shocked as to the crapness of british recycling schemes when I moved from Canada. Canadians had been doing it for years and the government ran a fairly comprehensive system which backed everything up. Here it was more "well if the government can't be arsed..."

Also, I've never understood the bins in stations thing. Yes it happened to have been a bomb once, but if you really want to damage the infrastructure couldn't you just chuck it onto the tracks? Not like some transport rentacop earning £5.10 an hour's gonna go down there after it.

Its off topic but...

The objective of putting bombs in bins was not to damage the infrastructure. It was to turn the bin into shrapnal and casue injury.

White balance - Sorry I had a very bad day when I read about the recycling. It was one of a list of badness. No offence intended or taken, just that our recycling scheme is so poor that apathy has set in. need to kick myself and recycle more, if the goverment lashed out at the people who make our goods to use less packaging and charge more to those who do waste materials then at least there is a start.

Our van comes around once a fortnight even then they cannot be arsed to pick it all up.
