I was just wondering if there are any other methods of getting more matt (etc) finishes on LRP props/weapons made with the traditional foam/latex/Isoflex seal method?

I think I still need the isoflex to strengthen the finish, but was wondering is I could use anything after to matt it down.

Cheers.

A thin coat of Acrylic matt spray paint varnish might do it?
Not sure how well it would adhere to it though...

Or just ditch the isoflex all together and paint on acrylic matt varnish (mixed with a bit of latex for flexibility)?

Tallows seems to get a smooth Matt finish on his weapons, but as far as I know, he's not revealling how it's done.
